Our Favorite Make up Tips

Here are a few of our favorite make-up tips here at Cliche!

Interestingly enough the first two don't really involve make-up application but are still as important.

1. Well groomed eyebrows - our eyebrows define our eyes and face. Whether you have to brush, trim, wax or pluck or have to fill in the gaps between hairs with an eyebrow powder or pencil to give them a more defined and groomed look, well groomed eyebrows are a must in creating the perfect canvas for the rest of your make-up application.

2. Curl those lashes - the few seconds it takes to curl your lashes do not equal the great reward it gives; doing this opens up your eye area and makes your mascara way more effective than it would be otherwise.

3. Fingertip application - To create a more natural look and to blend more easily and effectively, fingertip application is encouraged. This technique can be useful for blending colors, applying concealer, primer and eye-shadows!

  1. Great tips! I like the fingertip example. A lot of times soft blending is only effective for a softer eye. I have a sponsored DISH Network account and I watch the red carpet events in HD on E! I always freeze frame the shows to get the close ups. You can too at dish.com.
